Have been going since it opened as a small restaurant in a strip mall not far from where building stands today. Just wonderful German-Czech food - 'like grandma used to make'. Favorite menu item is schnitzel..always lite and tasty |

Been here a number of times and am never disappointed. The food is excellent and they have a diverse menu. The bar has a unique selection. While they could use more strong German biers on tap, their choices of unique brews will put you beer tasting to a test. |

This is my family's favorite restaurant, hands down. We've eaten there at least once a month for the past ten years, and when family visits from out of town, that's the place they insist on going back to! My uncle even gets extra kraut so that he can freeze it and take it back to Ohio! |

Absolutely amazing beer selection. It would be hard to find anywhere else that gets as many where and new to the US/Midwest anywhere around. Also, in all the times I've been here I haven't been disappointed in the food either. An absolute must try if your in the area! |

This is a family-owned place, where you always see the same folks working. An absolutely amazing list of German, Belgian, and American craft styles, including many things you won't find anywhere else in Chicago. They do beer right, with clean lines and taps and beer-clean glasses.
Also great food; a lot of German specialties, but also many traditional American favorites. My favorite place. |

Best German Restaurant around. Hands down favorite! Killer German food (the hunters schnitzel is to die for) and one of the finest Hand Craft Beer lists in the Chicago suburbs. Great service, great food, Great Beer and a great atmosphere. What more could you ask for? |
